Our mission is to strengthen research performed in Puerto Rico by providing services to the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) and other institutions in the area of confocal microscopy. We are committed to the development of high-tech industries in Puerto Rico and thus provide our services to the private sector as well. Furthermore, we recognize the significance of building new professionals by accepting the responsibility of training talented graduate and undergraduate students advanced imaging techniques such as Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching and Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET).
